JAPEMIRO

In 2015, Jan began exploring colors and expressions on canvas and is self-taught and has developed his own unique style.

He is inspired by Munch and Basquiat, among others, but also other artists who particularly capture emotions, such as expressive eyes in combination with a naïve touch.

These are paintings that contain many layers, both of paint and symbolism. The works are characterized by humor and seriousness.
